Who provides the chemicals and equipment?

We provide all essential non toxic cleaning products.However, we kindly request that you supply a corded vacuum to prevent the introduction of outside allergens and odors into your home.

What if I must skip or cancel my service?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation Policy:More than 48 hours’ notice: No charges will apply for cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.Within 24 to 48 hours’ notice: Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will be charged 50% of the total service cost. This fee compensates our staff for the lost time and work due to the short notice.Less than 24 hours’ notice: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be charged the full-service cost. This ensures our staff is compensated for the last-minute cancellation.Lux Method LLC Cancellations: If we need to cancel a cleaning due to extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control, we will promptly provide you with 1-2 alternative dates/times.Repeated Cancellation Policy: Clients who exceed 4 cancellations within a 60-day period will be notified and automatically moved to monthly visits at the monthly quoted price.Sickness/Covid Policy: Any cancellations due to illness or Covid exposure will be exempt from charges, and the fee will be waived.Skip Fee:- WEEKLY: Next visit will increase by $10.- BI-WEEKLY: Next visit will increase by $15.- MONTHLY: Next visit will increase by $25.Late Fee: Lux Method LLC reserves the right to pause services 5 days after an invoice is past due. All past due services will have a $25 late fee attached to the final invoice.

What day and time will you show up to clean?

We clean Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.You’ll receive a specific time slot, ensuring you never have to wait all day for our arrival.

Currently, we do not typically work on Saturdays. However, feel free to ask about future availability.

What if I need to change my day of service?

If you need to change your day of service, please contact us as soon as possible. 
We will do our best to accommodate your request and reschedule your appointment for a more convenient time.

Do I have to be home during service?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't have to be home during the service. Here’s how we ensure your convenience and safety:

Access: Provide us with a one-day access code, assign a code to us, or leave your key in a key lockbox. We can provide a key lockbox if needed, which can be purchased from us, or you can provide your own.

Security: Our Cleaning Technicians will never ask for your house keys.

Trustworthy Staff: Our employees are carefully screened and trained. Many have been with us since the very beginning.

Yes, our employees must read and speak English to ensure quality service. 
We do not use illegal labor, ensuring professionalism and reliability.

Yes, your things are safe with our employees. We conduct criminal background checks, verify job history, and perform employment verifications for every prospective employee. 
Our outstanding record of quality hiring and low employee turnover make us one of the safest and most trustworthy services.

Aggressive animals must be kenneled or in a separate room.

Yes, for your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No! You can cancel any time you wish. 
However, we offer a discount program for our Pre-Paying VIPs that provides substantial savings on every cleaning. 
You’ll only need to sign our non-compete agreement and on-time payment commitment when you hire us.

When do I pay for the service?

All payments are processed by credit card on the day of service. 
We do not accept cash or checks. 
Clients must have a credit/debit card on file before services begin unless previously arranged. 
Lux Method LLC may pause services 5 days after an invoice is past due. 
A $25 late fee will be added to past-due services. 
Services may be canceled 21 days after the invoice due date if the account is not in good standing.

Do I have to tip your employees?

Tipping is not required, but it is always appreciated. 
Our employees are paid fairly for their work, so any additional gratuity is entirely at your discretion as a gesture of appreciation for exceptional service.

What if I’m not satisfied? Our work is 100% guaranteed. If not satisfied, contact us within 24 hours, and we will return to re-clean any unsatisfactory areas. 
If we still cannot meet your expectations, a refund may be offered, and the relationship may be terminated. 
Your prompt feedback is essential.

Should I have a Spring Cleaning every year?

Accepted Answer

Many of our clients choose to have a General Cleaning annually or bi-annually to maintain those out-of-reach places that aren't part of the regular weekly or bi-weekly routine.

It's also less expensive than the first-time General Cleaning because the rest of the house is already at a maintenance level if we are regularly servicing your home!
